	WHAT'S NEW AT MIDWEST Southside Basketball Academy will be hosting a 6 week Basketball program here at Midwest Academy. The Southside Basketball Program will be similar to the former Kutis program. They will be focusing on the fundamentals of dribbling, passing, shooting and some defensive techniques as well. The girls will be able to get in extra fundametals while still being able to play for their AAU or school summer basketball team. The program will be 12 sessions @1 1/2 hours a night. The cost is $240.00 per player. Practice will be on Mondays and Tuesdays. The program is open to girls in 3rd through 8th grade. Tickets will be for sale at the door but we are limiting the number of kids. Please note: Tickets are not required to attend, they are just available for presale. The MidWest Soccer Academy (MWSA) is a not-for-profit public benefit corporation committed to the development of a safe conveniently located soccer facility within the City of St. Louis. In order to get "back to the basics" of soccer, "the player", St. Louis now has a facility which provides year round instruction, training and development. The MWSA will reach out to every player, beginner to experienced, from the area. The Mission Our Mission is simple. The Goal Our goal is to create an atmosphere and curriculum which enhances the player's individual skill, field sense, physical strength and fitness, mental preparation and sportsmanship. We will achieve this all within a positive and fun atmosphere. We take the responsibility of teaching and caring for the young soccer player very seriously. The MWSA staff has many years of coaching and teaching experience. This background includes hundreds of camp and clinic sessions.
